VOTE YES FOR A HAPPIER, HEALTHIER PALATINE TOWNSHIP

A Community Mental Health Board provides funding and oversight to ensure local access to vital mental health services, developmental disability support, and substance use treatment.

The Referendum

So Much for So Little

Palatine Township only spends $625,000 on ALL social services, leaving enormous gaps in services and hundreds of residents on a waitlist. Voting yes for the Community Mental Health Board will allow up $1.7 million to support a comprehensive mental health system in Palatine Township. The average single-family home would pay less than $41 per year, about the cost of a large pizza.

Ballot Question: “Shall Palatine Township levy an annual tax not to exceed 0.04% for the purpose of providing community mental health facilities and services for the person with a developmental disability, mental health disorder, or substance use disorder?”

Vote YES for a Community Mental Health Board on April 1!
